BSNB Community Day
A Day of Service
Each year, all BSNB employees participate in a bank-wide community service event to support several organizations throughout the area. It’s part of our commitment to giving back and strengthening the communities where we work and live.
On September 30th of 2025, we partnered with Sleep in Heavenly Peace. 113 of our BSNB employees volunteered, we built 22 beds, and donated 48 sets of bedding as well as $5,000.
American Red Cross
Hosting Life-Saving Blood Drives
Since 2005, BSNB has partnered with the American Red Cross to host annual community blood drives.
Our “Cookies for Courage” blood drive in 2025 was a big success! We had dozens of courageous donors attend, helping us exceed our goal with a total of 26 units of blood donated!
Ballston Spa CSD Robotics Program
STEM for the Next Generation
Since 2009, BSNB’s annual funding has helped the district’s team design and construct a robot according to competition specifications, participate in regional competitions, and expand the robotics initiative in the district. In 2025, we were proud to grant the team $10,000.
Foundation Scholarships
Supporting Our Next Leaders
BSNB supports local students by partnering with area high schools to sponsor an annual scholarship. The schools select the recipients based on academic achievement in math, science, engineering, or business, while also exemplifying a commitment to community service and support.
Lifeworks’ community action
Providing Thanksgiving Blessings
For the past three years, BSNB has partnered with Lifeworks’ Community Action group to provide Thanksgiving Baskets to those in need in Saratoga County. Lifeworks focuses on helping those struggling with economic hardships in the Capital Region.
